Date: 2013-03-07 11:29 am (UTC)I am now in Orkney. For those who don't know where that is, I'm on an island about 10 miles off the north coast of Scotland. The reason for this is that I'm starting a PhD at the university campus here (in fact I started yesterday, and I'm writing this while waiting for a computational model to run). It's quite exciting! Yet also scary.
My volunteering is likely to be somewhat reduced, now that I have other things to do with my time...
