The word "douche" in all its English acceptions will never stop being a source of amused wonderment for me.

So what have you been up to?

I had a little contest with a German colleague, years ago, to find the English word with the greatest number of possible meanings. The best we came up with was "trim". Can anybody do better ? :-)

I know "set" has a lot, but I'm not sure how many. But off the top of my head:

* a particular step in Scottish country dancing (also in Irish and in English country dancing)
* a group of people prepared to dance such a dance
* all those other meanings :)

Edited to add: ooh, I think "set" wins so far!

I got the garden weeded, the tree pruned, and the crocuses (croci?) planted.

In a list of things that are not fair to say, this is one of them.

(How is it? Is it as fun as all the pictures seem to say? Is the weather nice? Aw, man, I'm jealous.)

The weather is typical for September at WDW (humid, equally divided between "thunderclouds" and "stupidly sunny", frequent 30-minute rainshowers throughout the day), but we like coming down here this time of year even with the intermittent showers because at least the showers usually clear out the parks some ("it's raining! oh no! we have to go back to the hotel before we get wet!") and because it's also the time of year for the Food & Wine Festival. :)

Sarah and I love it here -- we come every year when we can.

I am not sure whether to be more envious of you or of Denise :-) (depends how much you have to work and how much prettyness you're seeing, I suspect)

I wonder if visiting local workspaces counts as touristy.
