I have been doing a little reading on Perl. Also, I got informed by a medical professional that under no circumstances was I to stand for longer than an hour at a time.

Hopefully, they gave that rule in a usable form, indicating how long you should be not-standing for every consecutive minute you spend standing, or something like that. Or did they expect you to read their mind?

I'm actually collecting a corpus of spam comments on my blog. They're offering me data; it would be rude to turn it down.

Unfortunately, I think the "your corpus can only tell you about your corpus" rule applies here: you wouldn't be learning Hungarian grammar so much as learning about the grammar of Hungarian spammers.

Yeah, more's the pity. But still, as a purely intellectual exercise, just to find out how much of the corpus grammar I can derive from just raw data...
