I just spent a few relaxing days at my parents' 2-flat, in part for a staycation because an aunt and uncle were in town from Seattle. It was great to catch up with them again. My uncle had a stroke in the summer of 2009, but is doing very well.





But the other reason for my staycation is that I had a minor medical procedure done on Thursday of last week. Everything went well, and it was quick and painless. The physician who performed the procedure was trained by my father many moons ago, and really knows his stuff. He is also a very nice guy. I already got the results back today. I was able to access them just fine as well as the doctor's notes, but I don't really understand them since I've never taken a course like that. But I'm confident that he will go over them with me soon.
