If enough small things irritate me while I'm near a computer, I may well go on a spree. Though I may well not.

I have been spamwhacking as per usual.
I've also been helping improve documentation by taking personal and specific advice that comes up in #dreamwidth-dev and trying to find whether it's in the wiki, and if not, the best place for it. Sometimes this results in the conversation being dumped in the wiki and a note made that someone who knows more about this than me should do something with it, and the resulting page put back into #dreamwidth-dev, and sometimes it results in some more detailed documentation.

I bet it will be one of those really tiny unobtrusive bugs that involves cutting or changing one line of code. You know. Nothing exciting.

I am STILL working on the dcoumentation. It's...kind of embarrassing. :/

Well, I can't do anything really until I have a working laptop again. Hopefully that will happen tomorrow evening. And then I have an all-day meeting thing Friday.

The good news is I know all my DW dev work, including my vgifts stuff, was safely backed up.

After months of waiting and calling tech support, I finally have stable and fast internet! (The tech support was for the instability, the waiting was for someone to install the necessary infrastructure in our area so we could bump up our speed)

A day later, and I'm still grinning wickedly \o/

It is scary how much faster my brain feels like it's working now that I'm no longer spending so much time waiting. (I WANT TO MAKE A RIDICULOUS I/O PUN BUT NOTHING COMES TO MIND)

heee. I know what you mean -- in '02 I moved from my own apartment back to my parents' house while I was finishing my degree for realz, and they only had dialup. I was coming off a superfast DSL connection, but the area didn't have DSL or cable available (and my parents refused to pay for any of the infrastructure necessary for anything business-grade, and wouldn't even let me pay for it myself).

I spent a lot of time on campus for a year and a half until DSL hit the neighborhood :)
