I'm slowly returning to DW devdom.

Continuing to really struggle to find the brain to actually do any dev work, heh. But I presented at my first academic conference and have been reading a lot of awesome books - most recently finished Ancillary Sword!

Well, now that I'm finally over my cold I have been trying to stay out of trouble. I'd say I have thus far succeeded in that endeavor, for the most part. I've actually been working on a writing piece for another community here on DW, while attempting to answer some written interview questions for another site that I actually found out about here on DW as well. Aside from my online life, I've been doing well. My next-door neighbors just announced in a meeting yesterday that they are pregnant. Well actually, he isn't but his wife is and she is due at the end of April next year. So I think we'll have a rugrat running around here before we know it. This will be their first. We're all really excited and happy for them. A downstairs neighbor of mine even burst into tears at our meeting.
